Orlando Dugi

form & concept | August 2020

In collaboration with Santa Fe Indian Market, form & concept presents the 2020 Capsule Collection of Diné designer Orlando Dugi.

“This capsule collection is a response to current global events," writes Dugi. "I have been missing home, spending this time reminiscing about loved ones and events. In honor of my grandmothers — whom I miss dearly — each look is named after them. This work expresses my hope for healing and restoration, drawing on Diné traditions of balance and harmony.”

Program

This capsule collection debuted in conjunction with Santa Fe Indian Market’s 2020 fashion event at form & concept. The small, masked gathering featured the debut of several fashion films, which were live streamed so that viewers could safely participate from home.
